Lady Wigram Village, a state of the art residential and care facility in Wigram, Christchurch, are on the lookout for an experienced Carer to join their newly established care team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of our family-owned village.

Above all, you will have a great sense of passion to work with the elderly with a genuineness to care about what you do. Experience in aged care is essential.

Your written and verbal communication skills will be at a high standard, and you will also be competent in computer literacy with concise clear documentation skills.
You must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand. Valid First Aid Certificate is an advantage.

Key responsibilities will involve:
-Provide high quality care using the latest equipment and computer technology.
-Working closely with the Registered Nurses to ensure care plans are being followed.
-Use of safe care and practice in your daily work.
You need to have at least 1 years’ experience working as a Caregiver in either dementia or rest home/hospital aged care in New Zealand and be prepared to complete Careerforce qualifications if you haven't already done so.
