Activities Coordinator – Come and Bring Lady Wigram to Life! Do you have energy to spare, love people, and enjoy making things happen? Lady Wigram is looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our Activities Team and help make village life even more enjoyable for our residents. We are a family-run, independently owned business, and that personal approach is at the heart of what we do. Our village is home to 235 independent residents, aged from 70 to 100, with an average age of 80 — and there is always something happening! 🎉 What makes this role different? No two days are the same. Your week will be a mix of planning, creativity, administration, driving, outings, events and plenty of resident interaction. Monday | 9.00am – 4.30pm ● Sourcing and organising upcoming entertainment, activities and events ● Contacting entertainers and suppliers ● Planning future events ● Managing emails and administration ● Creating our monthly resident newsletter ● Coming up with new ideas to keep our residents engaged and entertained Wednesday | 9.00am – 4.30pm You’ll take residents on our regular van outings, with destinations changing all the time. It might be a coffee and cake, an excursion around Christchurch, a visit to an attraction or simply discovering somewhere new. You’ll need a full driver’s licence. Our van seats 10 and does not require a special licence. Friday | 1.00pm – 7.30pm Friday is our functions and events day. Throughout the year we host a huge variety of events, from live entertainment and choir performances to themed celebrations, races, Christmas markets, fine dining evenings and fundraising events. Our recent Masquerade Mid-Winter celebrations were a perfect example of the fun, creativity and teamwork that goes into bringing our events to life.
